ECUST Held 2026 Campus Open Day and Undergraduate Admission Consultation Event
Recently, ECUST hosted the 2026 Campus Open Day and Undergraduate Admission Consultation Event on Xuhui Campus. The event adopted a hybrid online-offline format covering admission briefings, one-on-one consultations, campus tours and live streaming, offering prospective students and parents nationwide direct access to the university and its faculty. Vice President Huifeng Wang attended the event and delivered a keynote introduction to the university, joined by heads of administrative departments, schools and full-time faculty members.
Wang introduced the university’s educational legacy, disciplinary strengths, talent cultivation and graduates’ career prospects. She highlighted concrete efforts to foster top innovative, outstanding engineering, interdisciplinary and entrepreneurial talent, as well as advancing smart engineering education. Yuzhu Sun, Deputy Director of the Academic Affairs Office and Director of the Undergraduate Admission Office, detailed the 2026 admission highlights and policies to guide students in making informed application decisions.
The on-site consultation fair at Experimental Building 19 featured dedicated booths from relevant departments and schools, providing one-stop consultation services on admission policies, program features, career pathways and scholarship and financial aid programs. Attendees also toured signature venues including the Feringa Nobel Prize Scientists Joint Research Center and the university’s achievements exhibition, and experienced a lunch at the campus canteen for an immersive view of student life.
For off-site audiences, the full briefing was streamed live on its official social media channels. The live programming and province-specific sessions hosted by veteran admission counselors for 30 provinces, who interpreted local admission policies and answered questions in real time.
